We have extensive experience providing Christian counseling to men, women, and adolescents with both short- and long-term histories. From a current relationship conflict to issues of shame and abandonment dating back decades, our counselors are specifically trained and skilled to move you toward lasting solutions. The length of our typical session is from 60 to 75 minutes, dependent upon time availability.

We realize that counseling is an investment of your time and resources.  It is our commitment to provide the very best service for the lowest possible cost. 

The payment of your fees allow us to provide the industry-leading APS temperament profile at no cost to every client. The fee for this highly reliable assessment is typically $60 in other NCCA counselors’ offices. Click this link to learn more about the APS temperament profile.

Online Counseling via FaceTime or Zoom 

For those who may not reside in the Louisville Metro area — or maybe who are just looking for a more convenient, private means of seeking counseling — we are able to offer the same outstanding, high-quality services, but through the internet rather than in-person.  The fees for online counseling are the same as if the client(s) were in our office, and dependent upon which counselor(s) you choose.  Life Training has had the opportunity to effectively counseling limitless numbers of individuals and couples through this modern and convenient format.

We Are Out Of Network With All Insurance Plans

Our Christ-centered counseling practice is unable to bill insurance for the cost of counseling services. Christian counseling is typically considered “Out of Network” by most insurers. However, you may still be able to receive reimbursement by your insurance company for part of the cost.  If you’re interested in checking to see if your insurance company will reimburse you for the fees you’ve paid for counseling services, we can provide you with a standardized receipt that you can then submit to your insurance company at your discretion.  Please note, we cannot guarantee reimbursement by your insurance company in any way.  It is up to each insurance company or provider to determine if they’ll reimburse the cost for Out of Network services.  We recommend you give your insurance provider a call to see what might be covered.

Many FSA And HSA Cards Can Be Used For Payment At Life Training

Many Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts will also help pay for our counseling services. If you have a credit card that accompanies your FSA or HSA account, we can attempt to process that as your means of payment for your counseling sessions.
